Disaster Plus was called out to North Charleston over the weekend, after a large fire began in a warehouse where rolls of paper were being stored. The fire began on Friday, and the North Charleston Fire Department told us that they expect the fire to burn until Wednesday. At the peak of the fire, the fire department was spraying 250,000 gallons of water into the warehouse an hour! Disaster Plus is being used to extract the water that is being sprayed into the warehouse, and to ensure that the water doesn’t reach any of the unaffected offices. At the moment, our team is currently extracting 120,000 gallons of water an hour from inside the warehouse! If unwanted water ever finds it’s way into your home or property, don’t hesitate to call us at 843-724-7247. We’ll get the water removed quickly, while ensuring that your property is dried out in the most efficient manner. Check out several videos captured from the work site below, as well as the news article written about the fire here.
